Cross country: Arcadia's Phillip Rocha wins Division I state title with day's fastest timeIt was a memorable Saturday in Fresno for Phillip Rocha of Arcadia. He streaked to the fastest time of the day at the CIF state cross country championships, winning the Division I race in 14:58. Robert Brandt of Loyola took second in 15:07 and Jake Ogden of Dana Hills was third in 15:11. Great Oak edged Dana Hills to win the Division I team title. Great Oak also won in Division I girls.
In Division II boys, Brian Zabilski of Saugus edged Michael Teran of Jurupa Hills in 15:07. Teran was just one second behind. Ventura won the team title. Read the full article at: www.latimes.com
